Roaring mountains

Cool tidbit #1 - Did you know that Sierra Leone is so named because of the most magnificent thunderstorms that crash up against the mountains all around us - and the ensuing sound is that of roaring lions.

Cool tidbit @2 - the onboard blood bank is the crew! Register your blood type with the lab upon arriving, and when your type comes up required, you get a note posted on your door that your presence is required in the lab :-)

I love thunderstorms, the louder the better! But I have never been in one while living on a ship. Let me know how that goes ;). Kelsey

I love that about the blood transfusions - ooops, they were making urgent requests in my hospital today too, and I meant to go, and then got busy with 2 new patients...- tell us how many times you get called on in your stay there....
Is Freetown pretty with all those mountains around? It's interesting that the words are Spanish - where did that influence come from?
We miss you lots - and cried quite a bit after you left - gradually adjusting to your not being here - the house is so quiet.....Love you

Lycie, not sure if you get my comments. I am not too clever with this computer. I am following all your news. So glad to hear you are sounding happy.
